Jerome Michael Coateson, 38, a Black / African American male, was shot during a Saturday evening mass shooting on August 9, 2025, in Baltimore’s Park Heights neighborhood and died the following morning at the hospital. The attack unfolded around 8:45–8:46 p.m. near Spaulding and Queensberry Avenues, where a small group had gathered outside when gunfire erupted.
