Milton Sims, a 26-year-old charter pilot, disappeared on December 16, 1978, under mysterious circumstances while flying a Beechcraft Baron aircraft. Sims worked for Seaback Aviation in Spring, Texas, and had previously flown a passenger from Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH) to Huntsville, Texas, the day before his disappearance. On December 16, he was scheduled to fly the same passenger from Huntsville back to Houston, but the plane was hijacked mid-flight.
