Victor Bastardo Reyes, a 20-year-old Hispanic/Latino male from Beltsville, was shot shortly after midday on August 17, 2025, in the unincorporated section of Takoma Park in Prince George’s County. Officers were called around 12:25 p.m. to the 6300 block of New Hampshire Avenue, where they found him in the roadway suffering from gunshot wounds; he was taken to a nearby hospital and died a short time later.
