In the early afternoon of a Sunday in August 2025, a young man named Victor Bastardo Reyes was found lying in the roadway in Takoma Park, Maryland. The 20-year-old male had been shot. The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. in the 6300 block of New Hampshire Avenue.
