Howard Coleman-Patton, a 35-year-old man, was found on the evening of June 7, 2025, slumped over the wheel of a car in Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood, in the 2000 block of East 79th Street. Police said he had been shot in the right arm, and a 4-year-old boy seated in the back of the vehicle was unharmed.
