Alvonta Pinex, a 27-year-old Black man, died on September 24, 2016, in Chicago, IL. His death occurred during an encounter with the Chicago Police Department. On the night of the incident, officers Gildardo Sierra and Raoul Mosqueda were patrolling the South Side of Chicago when they spotted a vehicle they believed was involved in a previous crime.
