Martell Thomas, a 30-year-old African American man, was fatally shot on July 6, 2020, in the North Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred around 11:10 p.m. in the 3600 block of West Douglas Boulevard. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Martell Thomas unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds.
