Quan Vaughn, 19, a Black / African American male from Cahokia Heights, was shot shortly after dawn on June 15, 2025, in the 300 block of Greystone Drive where he lived. Officers arrived to find the 19-year-old suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; he was taken to Touchette Regional Hospital, where Quan Vaughn, 19, was pronounced dead. The shooting unfolded around 5 a.m., shattering a quiet Sunday morning on the residential street.
