Antwane Perkins, 27, a Black/African American man, was killed on Memorial Day, May 26, 2025, in Stockton, California. Late that afternoon, police were called to reports of gunfire in the 300 block of South San Joaquin Street—just south of Highway 4—where officers found Antwane Perkins, 27, and Jessie Hilliard Jr., 19, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
