Death by Force

Armando Barocio Salcido, a 60-year-old Hispanic/Latino male, was killed on June 1, 2025, in Santa Ana, California. Shortly before 5 p.m., officers were dispatched to the strip mall at West 1st Street and South Newhope Street and found Salcido suffering from a gunshot wound behind Bottle Liquor & Spirit at 4502 W. 1st Street. Despite emergency response, he was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity and date of death were confirmed in a public obituary posted later that month.
