On a Monday afternoon in Santa Ana, California, the life of 58-year-old John Albert Guillen was cut short in a burst of violence. On April 27, 2026, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Guillen was getting into his vehicle in the 300 block of North Daisy Avenue when he was struck by a single gunshot to his upper torso. The male victim was found down in the street by Santa Ana Police officers who had responded to reports of a shooting.
