Jessica Peacock, age 36, a White/Caucasian female from Baxley, Georgia, was found dead on the morning of June 3, 2025, inside her home on the 1000 block of Altamaha School Road. Deputies with the Appling County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call around 8:15 a.m., after Jessica Peacock, age 36, was discovered by her husband. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was asked to lead the case, and early findings indicated she had been fatally shot.
