Hispanic/Latino. Marco Velasquez-Sierra, age 36, male, was found with a gunshot wound to the head late on July 4, 2025, in Chicago’s West Englewood neighborhood. Responding officers located Marco Velasquez-Sierra around 11:55 p.m. in the 6400 block of South Winchester Avenue and he was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
