Death by Force

Daphne Saddler, a 38-year-old woman, Black/African American, died on June 7, 2025, after officers were called to her home on Research Drive in Marietta, Georgia. Responding to a “person down” call around 10:37 a.m., police found two people with gunshot wounds inside the residence. They were identified as Daphne Saddler, age 38, and Samuel Mills, age 44. Investigators described the incident as a suspected murder-suicide at 1158 Research Drive in northeast Cobb County.
