In the late hours of Labor Day, September 1, 2025, the life of 36-year-old Ashley June Lanham, a white female, was tragically cut short in a shooting that occurred in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. The incident took place just before 10:30 p.m. in the 700 block of South Brook Street, near Broadway. When officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department arrived at the scene, they discovered Lanham suffering from a gunshot wound.
