Andre Jones, 29, male, Black/African American, left home in Norcross on the night of June 17, 2025, and found himself outside the Horizon Inn and Suites on Dawson Boulevard just before midnight. Gunfire split the summer air around 11:45–11:47 p.m. Officers arrived to find Andre Jones, 29, with a gunshot wound to his chest; medics rushed him to a nearby hospital where he died.
