In the late hours of a Tuesday evening, a dispute at a Norcross hotel tragically escalated, claiming the life of 29-year-old Andre Jones. The incident occurred just before midnight on June 17, 2025, in the 6000 block of Dawson Boulevard, an address corresponding to the Horizon Inn and Suites. Jones was shot in the chest and was rushed to a local hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. During the altercation, an uninvolved woman was also struck by a bullet in the leg.
