On the night of July 28, 2021, Illijah Ayala-Bracken, a 28-year-old male from Norcross, Georgia, was tragically shot and killed. The incident occurred around 11:15 p.m. in the parking lot of the Grove at Stonebrook Apartments and Townhomes, located at 1405 Beaver Ruin Road in Norcross.
