In the late hours of an April evening in 2014, a verbal altercation erupted between acquaintances at the Bradford Gwinnett Apartments in an unincorporated area of Norcross, Georgia. The dispute quickly escalated into a physical confrontation, and tragically, gunshots rang out. Caught in the crossfire was Kevin Pierre, a 23-year-old male resident of the complex.
