Edward M. Delgado, 20, a male, was found just after midnight on September 21, 2025, inside a silver SUV that had rolled onto its side along the 10100 block of South Avenue M on Chicago’s East Side. Officers initially answered a crash call at 12:34 a.m., then discovered that the driver—identified as Edward M. Delgado of Indiana—had been shot in the head. He was rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. A weapon was recovered at the scene, police said.
