Antwan Bluthenthal, 46, a Black male, was shot on the third floor of a building at 701 Sixth Avenue in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter on the evening of August 3, 2025, after visiting the Cielo Rooftop Lounge on the fifth floor. Police and paramedics found him in a hallway with at least one gunshot wound; despite first aid at the scene, he died of his injuries.
