On December 12, 2016, Gregory Thomas Huser, age 66, was found dead in Balboa Park, San Diego. He was discovered at around 2:00 a.m. on the 3000 block of Park Boulevard, lying in a grassy area near the road. The preliminary investigation indicated that Huser may have been sleeping when he was attacked, and he sustained trauma to his body. The authorities have not identified the attacker, and the case remains unsolved.
