On August 30, 2025, 14-year-old girl D'azariah Easton was shot inside a residence on Altama Avenue in Brunswick, Georgia, around 8 p.m., in what police described as a shooting that happened when a teen “mishandled” a gun. Officers arrived to find the 14-year-old with a gunshot wound; investigators said she was shot by someone she knew. The Glynn County Coroner later confirmed her identity as Dazariah Easton, 14, of Brunswick.
