In the early evening of a summer day in Washington, D.C., the life of an 18-year-old male, Darrell Anderson, was tragically cut short. On Monday, June 2, 2025, at approximately 5:54 p.m., the sounds of gunfire shattered the quiet of a residence in the 1800 block of Q Street, Southeast. When officers from the Sixth District of the Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the scene, they discovered Anderson inside, suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.
