On a summer day in Colorado Springs, the life of 45-year-old Tanya Burnside was tragically cut short in what police are investigating as a murder-suicide. On August 10, 2025, at approximately 2:18 PM, officers from the Colorado Springs Police Department responded to a call about a shooting in the 4100 block of Sod House Trail. Upon their arrival, they discovered the bodies of Ms. Burnside and a man, both having sustained at least one gunshot wound.
