Death by Force

Jerry Williams, age 28, a man from Richmond, was shot to death on the evening of September 19, 2025, near the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Eighth Street in the city's Iron Triangle. Police were alerted by a ShotSpotter activation at 8:43 p.m. and arrived to find Jerry Williams, age 28, suffering from gunshot wounds; despite life-saving efforts, he died at the scene. The killing was Richmond's second homicide of the year.
