On the evening of Monday, May 19, 2025, the life of 48-year-old Kente Ma Williams, a Black / African American male, was tragically cut short in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Police were called to the 300 block of Bellevue Circle where they discovered Williams suffering from a gunshot wound. He was ultimately unable to survive his injuries and passed away.
The investigation into the homicide led police to identify Kilan Brown as the suspect in Williams' death.
Brown was subsequently arrested and is facing a multitude of serious charges in connection with the incident. These charges include capital murder, aggravated residential burglary, aggravated assault, carrying a weapon, and first-degree criminal mischief.
Born in Compton, California, on February 7, 1977, Williams was remembered by friends and family as a kind and positive person with an infectious smile who loved to give back to his community. He was known for his genuine and effortless kindness, and his love for DC and Marvel comics. The investigation into his death is ongoing.
