Adrain Anderson, 23, a Black male from Little Rock, was shot on the afternoon of July 28, 2025, in the parking lot of an apartment complex on the 2100 block of Labette Manor Drive. Officers with the Little Rock Police Department’s Northwest Patrol Division arrived around 3:40 p.m. and found him with an apparent gunshot wound. Medics attempted life-saving measures, but he died at the scene. Homicide detectives secured the area, canvassed for witnesses, and searched for surveillance video while the Pulaski County Coroner transported him to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for autopsy and notification of next of kin.

Within two days, investigators named and apprehended multiple suspects. On July 29, police arrested 22-year-old Travein Howard of Little Rock and 19-year-old Jamar Perkins of Little Rock, each on a charge of capital murder. The following day, July 30, police arrested a third person, 20-year-old Antiyana Wilbert of Little Rock, also on a charge of capital murder. Authorities stated that the investigation was ongoing as detectives continued to piece together what led to the deadly encounter at Labette Manor and to gather additional evidence tying the arrested suspects to the killing.
