Tedarius Montez Seawright, age 33, gender Male, Black / African American, died late on September 9, 2025, after a gunshot wound sustained during a confrontation inside an apartment on the 1400 block of 4th Court West in Birmingham’s Elyton Village. Officers from Birmingham’s North Precinct were dispatched around 11:50 p.m. on reports of a break-in and shooting; when they arrived, they found Tedarius Montez Seawright, age 33, gender Male, unresponsive, and he was pronounced dead at the scene
