In the late hours of a Tuesday night in Birmingham, Alabama, a dispute ended in the death of 33-year-old Tedarius Montez Seawright. The male victim died on September 9, 2025, in an apartment within the Elyton Village public housing community. The incident, which marked the city's 58th homicide of the year, unfolded around 11:50 p.m. when police received a call about a home break-in.
