In the early morning hours of August 5, 2020, a devastating fire engulfed a home in Denver, Colorado, tragically claiming the life of Khadija Diol, a 22-month-old girl. Khadija, a female of Senegalese descent, perished in the blaze alongside her parents, Djibril Diol, 29, and Adja Diol, 23, as well as her aunt, Hassan Diol, 25, and her infant cousin, Hawa Baye.
