Rick Robbins was a 47-year-old, male, white–American individual, serving as a District Chief in the Jackson Fire Department. On April 24, 1996, at the Central Fire Station in Jackson, Mississippi, he was fatally shot, suffering gunshot wounds; he was taken to Mississippi Baptist Medical Center where he later died. His death was officially investigated as a homicide.
