In the summer of 1980, seven-year-old African-American Latonya Yovette Wilson disappeared from her family's second-floor apartment in the Hillcrest Heights complex in Atlanta, Georgia. On the early morning of June 22, a witness reported a harrowing sight: a man climbing into the window of the Wilson's residence multiple times.
