On July 15, 1985, 26-year-old white male Frank Powe from Bagdad, Florida, was tragically killed in a violent incident that later revealed the presence of a serial killer operating across multiple states. Powe had been hitchhiking near Bagdad when he was approached by John Francis Wille, a 21-year-old drifter from LaPlace, Louisiana.
