Verdell Goins, a 52-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on November 7, 2021, in Miami Gardens, Florida. The incident occurred after Goins and his girlfriend, Atoya Holmes, 48, had attended a Miami Dolphins game and visited a friend's house. According to reports, the couple got into an argument in their car, which escalated into a physical altercation.
