Wilhelmina Kruger, a 56-year-old white female cleaner, was brutally murdered on January 29, 1966, in Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia. She had been working a night shift at the Piccadilly Centre, a shopping arcade on Crown Street, when she was attacked. In the weeks leading up to her death, Wilhelmina reportedly felt she was being watched and had grown increasingly anxious.
