On June 2, 1970, the body of 64-year-old white female Ruth Boehner was discovered in her Miami, Florida apartment. The circumstances surrounding her death were both violent and disturbing. According to investigators, Ruth Boehner had suffered blunt-force trauma to the head, neck, and jaw. In addition to these injuries, she had also been strangled, resulting in a fractured hyoid bone—a telltale sign of manual strangulation.
