On September 6, 1973, the body of 16-year-old Caucasian female Barbara Anne Bauer was discovered in Bradford County, Florida. She had been abducted from a shopping mall in Holly Hill, Florida, and was found strangled to death.

In 1982, serial killer Gerald Eugene Stano confessed to the murder of 16-year-old Caucasian female Barbara Anne Bauer, along with numerous other killings. Stano, born in 1951 in Schenectady, New York, was adopted and raised in Florida. He was known for targeting y ...
