In the summer of 1975, 21-year-old white female Elyse Rapp from Hollywood, Florida, was found dead under circumstances that would later be linked to a chilling series of unsolved homicides known as the Flat-Tire Murders. These crimes, which spanned from early 1975 to early 1976, involved the deaths of numerous young women in Broward and Dade Counties, many of whom were discovered in or near canals.
