On the morning of February 3, 1983, 17-year-old white female Patricia Rosansky, a junior at Battle Creek Central High School in Michigan, disappeared while walking alone to school. Her absence sparked concern in the community, and despite search efforts, she remained missing for two months. On April 6, 1983, her body was discovered in a wooded ravine in Bedford Township near Battle Creek. She was identified through dental records.
