On January 28, 1986, Fermin Uriza, a Hispanic male, was murdered in South Florida by Manuel Pardo Jr., a former police officer turned serial killer. Uriza was among the nine victims—six men and three women—whom Pardo killed over a 92-day period between January and April 1986.
