Charles Stewart, a 65-year-old African-American male, tragically lost his life on the evening of March 12, 2014, after becoming ensnared in a house fire in Las Vegas, Nevada. The blaze, which erupted in the 1200 block of West Washington Avenue, near J Street, drew a swift response from both Las Vegas police and firefighters. Upon their arrival at approximately 11 p.m., they discovered a distressing scene.
