In the autumn of 1990, the city of Richmond, Virginia, was gripped by a quiet terror that would come to be known as the "Golden Years Murders." On October 2nd of that year, Eva Jones, an 80-year-old Black woman living alone, became one of the earliest victims in this string of tragic events. She was found stabbed to death in her home, a chilling echo of another elderly woman's murder just months before.
