On June 4, 1994, Cathy Ann Magaziner, a 39-year-old white female, was murdered in Baltimore, Maryland. Her killer, Joseph Roy Metheny, later confessed to the crime, admitting that he strangled her and buried her body in a shallow grave on the premises of the pallet company where he worked as a forklift operator.
