Michael Edward Raney, a 12-year-old boy, tragically lost his life on May 7, 1968, while camping at Montana's Headwaters State Park. The young boy was among approximately 200 Boy Scouts gathered at the site when an unknown assailant entered his tent and killed him. The circumstances surrounding his death were deeply unsettling, as the attack appeared to be deliberate and calculated.
