On September 21, 2014 at approximately 7:32 p.m. the LVMPD Call Center received a 911 call reference someone being shot in the 5200 block of Stampa Ave. Patrol officers and medical personnel responded and discovered Jose Hernandez-Pena, 16 years of age, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds and became the victim of a homicide.
