Jane Louise 'Janey' Allen, a 13-year-old girl from Michigan, was last seen on August 8, 1976, attempting to hitchhike between Pontiac and Royal Oak, Michigan. She had a history of running away from home but had not done so in months. On the day of her disappearance, she had visited her boyfriend's home in Auburn Heights, Michigan.
