On February 12, 2025, at approximately 5:50 PM, officers from the Big Spring Police Department responded to reports of a gunshot victim at the intersection of 14th and Goliad in Big Spring, Texas. Upon arrival, they discovered Ricky Flores Mier, a 38-year-old Hispanic male, deceased inside a white GMC Yukon.
