Jahaanz Wilson, a 22-year-old resident of Charlottesville, Virginia, was fatally shot in the early hours of January 26, 2025. The incident occurred at approximately 2:55 a.m. in a parking lot on the 200 block of West Water Street. Charlottesville police officers responded to reports of a shooting and were informed that Wilson had already been transported to the University of Virginia Medical Center.
