Do you know who killed Hipolito Reyes-Perez? In the early hours of August 17, 2015, a grim discovery was made in a residence in the 600 block of S. 11th Street in Las Vegas. There, 32-year-old Hispanic male Hipolito Reyes-Perez was found deceased, the victim of an apparent homicide. A female who came upon the scene immediately dialed 9-1-1 at approximately 12:46 a.m. to report the tragic event.
When authorities arrived, they determined that Reyes-Perez had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department launched an investigation into the death of Reyes-Perez. Detectives working the case managed to recover surveillance video from a nearby business that captured a vehicle of interest in the area on August 8, 2015, at around 11:50 p.m., a time they believe is connected to the homicide. The vehicle was described as a dark, newer model four-door SUV, possibly maroon in color, with distinctive chrome rims.
In connection with the investigation, authorities identified two persons of interest. They were described as two Hispanic or Cuban males, both estimated to be around 30 years old and standing between 5'7" and 5'8" with medium builds. Despite the video evidence and the description of the persons of interest, no arrests have been publicly announced in the case. The death of Hipolito Reyes-Perez remains an open and unsolved homicide.
