52-year-old Jahid Hombre Black was fatally shot on March 25, 2025, in Killeen, Texas. The incident occurred at approximately 6:48 p.m. on the 6100 block of Griffith Loop, where Killeen Police officers responded to reports of a shooting victim. Upon arrival, officers discovered Jahid Hombre Black suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite emergency medical efforts, he was pronounced dead at 7:23 p.m. at the scene by Justice of the Peace Gregory Johnson.
