Darrient Lee Grant, a 16-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 14, 2015, in Killeen, Texas. He was a student at Gateway High School in Killeen. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when police responded to multiple 911 calls reporting gunshots in the 4200 block of Tidal Wave Drive.
