Kevin Marshall III, a 20-year-old man from Laurinburg, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on December 25, 2024, following a shooting incident. The young man was initially treated at Scotland Memorial Hospital before being transferred to UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. His brother, 18-year-old Kavone Marshall, was also wounded in the same incident but was treated and later released from Scotland Memorial Hospital.
